The Good...
I mentioned in one of my posts of a proposed shake-up next year at the office that I least like. Well, it seems the shake-up is a go and is happening sooner than I expected. I am not happy that we have to let go of some people but its necessary especially during this times. But I do wish that the one going was the one staying and the one staying is the one that's going away. I can work with the one going than the one staying but I guess we don't always get what we wish for. But at least change is happening and the one staying has no choice but to deal with it. There will also be changes that will affect the other employees and this is one that I would really want to handle - manpower scheduling. I think this clinic is far too staffed that is not directly related to its daily operation. The manpower can be scaled more, not only in terms of hours but in people. I just would have to present it to my boss and have him see its benefits of having fewer people but all efficient than having a lot but most of them are so inefficient. I have done it with the other clinics and it works and he knows it works which makes my case a lot stronger. I just hope his judgement wont be clouded. That will have to wait until next year when more and more changes it seems will happen.
There are four salaried employees in our company but I am one of the only two salaried ones that actually goes to work everyday. This being the case, I have decided to make an exception for Christmas Eve and now New Years Eve. Our office was open for half a day but I decided to not come to work. Enough of being a "bayani" (hero). For as long as I am not neglecting my job doing so, I think I deserve a break especially what this office has put me through this year. Its not even much but its something. Last Christmas Eve, I decided to do my errands and last minute shopping instead. Tomorrow, what else, get ready for our party by making the requested dessert and also making sure that our bar menu is looking good.

Speaking
of New Years Eve party, things seem to be shaping up pretty well. My
aunts went to Chinatown over the weekend to get our dresses or tops. I
still have to see mine but based on my aunt's description I am liking
it. I plan to take a lot of pictures hence the need to be there early
before the rest of the people arrive. We expect a lot of people this
year and we actually don't mind. It has always been "the more, the
merrier" with us when its our New Years Eve party. It usually lasts
until the morning but the thing is I have another party on the evening
of New Years Day. I just hope I will be able to alert for that one.
